Kyle Ikuma

Kyle Ikuma (he/him) is originally from northern New Jersey and began dancing at age 12 with Carolyn Santonicola. He continued training at Ballet Academy East with instructors including Darla Hoover, Peter Frame, Joseph Malbrough, Maxim Beloserkovsky, Juan Carlos Peñuela, and Wendy Whelan. Kyle earned a BSE in mechanical engineering and a minor in dance performance from Princeton University. Since moving to the Bay, he has danced with Oakland Ballet Company, Peninsula Ballet Theatre, and Berkeley Ballet Theater. He is thrilled to make his Oceánica Ballet debut this season!
