Yan Zhang

Yan has been an active member of the Bay Area ballet community for nearly 2 decades with various companies including Academy of American Ballet, Peninsula Ballet Theatre and Bay Pointe Ballet. Even with a demanding professional life, two kids at home, the studio is where she can immerse herself in the beauty of music, art, creativity and teamwork. The ballet company teaches her about humility, respect for others, passion and persistence that she would cherish for life. She is grateful for her husband’s support and values every moment of ballet.
