Viva La Vida with Excerpts from P1N0CCH10 & Carmilla

Join Oceánica Ballet for an evening of family-friendly story ballets inspired by Halloween and Día de los Muertos! Viva La Vida with Excerpts from P1N0CCH10 & Carmilla will entrance you in fall 2026.
Act One includes previews of upcoming story ballets: P1N0CCH10, a retelling of Carlo Collodi's classic tale, explores humanity, artificial intelligence, and our relationship with the natural world; and Carmilla, an adaptation of Sheridan Le Fanu's groundbreaking sapphic vampire novella, stages a sumptuous masquerade ball.
Act Two features Viva La Vida, the original story of Lucio and Lupita in a multicultural tale about transcending loss and the resilience of love, celebrated through a joyful folklórico-infused ode to life inspired by Día de los Muertos. Throughout all stories, the wisdom of women across time and cultures is amplified.
Viva La Vida with Excerpts from P1N0CCH10 & Carmilla will be performed on November 1, 2026 at 1:00pm and 4:00pm at the College of San Mateo Theatre.
